Vyntworks Field: privacy notice
What the app sends from your phone, who receives it, and how to delete it.
Last updated: 15 October 2026.
Who we are, and who decides
Vyntworks Field is a phone app made by Orleyton Ltd, trading as Vyntworks, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12577916, registered office The Old Plough, Bagstone Road, Bagstone, Wotton-under-Edge, GL12 8BD. ICO registration ZC204688. Contact: hello@vyntworks.com.
The app is for staff of companies that use the Vyntworks platform (Tibr). You sign in with the account your employer gave you. Your employer decides what the app is used for and is the controller of the site photos and job records it creates; we process them on your employer's behalf under our agreement with them. For questions about how your employer uses your photos, ask your employer. For anything about the app itself, contact us.
What the app sends, and what it does not
- Site photos. Photos you take with your phone's own camera, but only those taken at one of your employer's job sites, taken while your phone was at a job site, or taken in a time you asked to have filed (for example “file today's photos to the Riverside job”). For each one: the photo, a small preview of it, when it was taken, where it was taken (if your camera saved the location), its file name and size. Photos taken anywhere else stay on your phone. Screenshots are never sent. The app decides this on your phone, before anything is sent.
- Job site visits. When your phone arrives at or leaves one of your employer's job sites: which job and the time. This lets photos without a saved location be matched to the right job.
- Your phone. An identifier the app creates for this installation, the phone's make and model, its operating system and app versions, and a notification token so your employer's Tibr can ask the app to send photos.
Location. The app uses your location on the phone to find your employer's job sites near you and to notice when you arrive at or leave one. It does not track your movements and does not send a record of where you go: only the job site visits described above, and the location saved with each site photo that is sent.
Photo library. The app looks at new photos in your camera roll to find the ones described above. It does not change or delete anything on your phone.
Who receives it
- Your employer's Tibr, run by us. It files each photo in the folder of the job it belongs to, which your employer's colleagues can see. Our servers are hosted by DigitalOcean in London (UK); photo files are stored with DigitalOcean in Frankfurt (EU).
- Your employer's Microsoft 365 (SharePoint or OneDrive), if your employer has connected it: filed photos are saved in the job's folder there.
- AI assistant. If you or a colleague ask Claude (by Anthropic, United States) to file or list your photos through your employer's Tibr connection, Claude receives the photos' times, file names and the jobs they belong to, in order to answer. Claude does not receive the photos themselves.
- Notifications. To ask the app to send photos, Tibr sends a silent message through Expo (650 Industries, United States) and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) or Apple Push Notification service (iPhone). The message contains only a request to send photos for a time range, never photos or your location.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use your photos to train AI models. Where data leaves the UK we rely on UK adequacy regulations (including for the EU and, where the provider is certified, the UK–US Data Bridge) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long it is kept
- Photos that are filed to a job become part of your employer's job records and are kept for as long as your employer keeps them.
- Photos sent to Tibr but never filed to a job are deleted 30 days after they were taken.
- Job site visits are deleted after 30 days.
- Your phone's details are kept while you are signed in, and removed from use when you sign out or delete your data.
Deleting your data
In the app, open the home screen and choose Delete my data. This deletes the photos you sent that have not been filed to a job, their files and your site visits, and signs every phone out. Without the app, see how to delete your Vyntworks Field data. Photos already filed to jobs belong to your employer's records; ask your employer about those. Your sign-in account is your employer's to remove.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Because your employer is the controller of your site photos, we will pass requests about them to your employer and help them respond. Email hello@vyntworks.com.
